Mayoral Visit to Harbison

During his visit, Mayor Fitzpatrick enjoyed conversations with residents and took part in Harbison’s popular Motiview cycling program – an interactive experience that allows residents to explore destinations around the world from the comfort of their chairs.
The Mayor also met two of Harbison’s nationally recognised team members: Brianna Browne, winner of the National 2025 Rising Star You Are ACE! Award, and Justin Woodward, a national finalist in the same category. These prestigious national awards recognise exceptional care, innovation, and leadership in aged care, and Harbison is proud to have both Brianna and Justin representing the next generation of leaders in the sector.
Harbison also shared updates on exciting major projects, including:
- Harbison Burradoo - Work is underway on a new residential care home, replacing buildings that have served the community since 1959.
- Harbison Living Village, Moss Vale - The Southern Highlands’ only co-located independent living is set to begin work soon.
Both projects are part of Harbison’s long-term strategy – offering local people the choice to live independently, receive tailored support as needs change, and remain connected to the community they know and love.
“We are proud to be community-owned, and every step we take is designed to support better ageing, create stronger local jobs, and foster more connected communities,” said Harbison CEO David Cochran.
As our Patron, we thank Mayor Fitzpatrick for visiting Harbison, taking the time to connect with our residents, celebrate our staff achievements and share in our vision for the future of ageing in the Southern Highlands.
