Guided by Care
Moving forward with purpose.
Our mission is to improve how people age, by supporting healthy, productive, meaningful lives.

Harbison was founded in 1956 by the Southern Highlands community, for the Southern Highlands community. It began with a simple but meaningful idea: to create a place where older people could belong, receive the support they needed and continue to live with dignity, purpose and independence.
Today, that purpose remains unchanged, but our vision has grown. Through Harbison 2034, we're intentionally reshaping the future of care. As we look towards our 75th anniversary and beyond, we're creating a legacy that brings generations together, supports people to live life on their own terms, and transforms how we age, live and thrive as a community.
